Tropo on 2m – QSO CT9/OM3RG
Incredible duct this sunday in december.
QSO made between OV3T – JO46CM and CT9/OM3RG IM12JU – 3275km TROPO
Steve only had 100w, and heard me in each period. Took a while.
I heard Steve only the few times needed to make the QSO with -21dB and -22dB.
Allmost a straight line in water, touching JO01/IO91/IN88/IN53 grid squares made it possible.
It would have been impossible if more land had to be crossed.

The OZ national tropo record would be in play here, last one set in 1985 by OZ1EYE 2536km.
144M | Tropo | OZ1EYE | JO56AL | UA6BAQ | KN93TL | 1985-10-26 | 1518 UTC | 2536km |

Congratulations Thomas!!!
Congrats Thomas!
This is truly extraordinary and would be unthinkable without FT8 > WSJT.

Hej Thomas,
